The Aviators are a lively 4 piece rock band from East Kilbride. The band has been together since 2009, with the current line-up playing and rehearsing from January this year.
The line up consists of Darren Hutton on Vocals and Guitar, Bradley Revill on Guitar, Ewen Cameron on Bass and Steven O’Neill on Drums. Their first gig with new drummer Steven was in The Barrowlands, Glasgow earlier this year, where they were well received by a busy crowd. As well as performing their own songs, The Aviators throw in their unique take on a few well known covers. It is this creativity and musicianship that saw The Aviators crowned winners of Duncanrig Secondary Schools’ rock competition “Rigrock” and The Detours Battle of the Bands in 2010.
The Aviators have shared the stage with fellow Scottish rockers, The Detours and were also fortunate enough to play with The Alarm. This year the band took part in the first ever Auldhouse Festival which went down as a great success as well as being on the main stage at Paisley’s Sma Shot day. In October "The Aviators" have two headline gigs at both the ABC2 and Classic Grand in Glasgow. The band is currently working with renowned producer Duncan Cameron on new material which they will record and release later this year.
Kudos are an energtic five piece band coming from the glitz and glamour of East Kilbride, bound by a love of rock music and banter. The band consists of Harry on vocals, Calum on guitar, Stuart on guitar and Ross on drums. After the arrival of Gav on bass, the band have decided to get writing, jamming and gigging, definitely one to look out for!
