Greenhills Millennium Video Group is having its AGM on Monday 14th of February at 7pm within Greenhills Community Hall.

Any interested individuals can access their website at www.gmvg.org where a whole host of information about Greenhills and the surrounding area can be found.

Their mission statement is simple:

"[Our project is] a documentary history of Greenhills, East Kilbride, [and] a resource that will tell you all about our community.

"If you are a resident of the area, past or present, then you may learn things that you never knew about the area that you live in. If you are not from the area then you are welcome too, to come and learn about the people that live here now and in the past.

"For many people this is just another housing scheme, in just another town, but today we hope to show you that there is a lot more to this community than meets the eye."

Chairperson of the group Cllr Archie Buchanan said:

"The AGM will deal with the usual business and a brief discussion will also take place regarding further initiatives being planned by members.



"Anyone with an interest in our group is welcome to come along and the meeting starts at 7pm."
