Calling all Senior Citizens & Retired People in the Greenhills area.
Greenhills Neighbourhood Senior Citizens Club was very successful in Greenhills for about 25 years until it went into limbo a few years ago due to its office bearers all passing away.
The constitution and bank account are all still active and all it needs is a few people to come forward and take up the reins said Cllr Archie Buchanan as financial assistance is also available help run an organisation like this.
Cllr Buchanan has organised an open meeting on Friday 9th of March at 12noon in Greenhills Community Hall for all interested individuals to come along and have a chat about re-starting this club, which can play an active part in our community with trips, speakers, health impute and just about anything members wanted to participate in.
Archie will shortly be contacting all sheltering housing complexes in the area, and as many senior citizens and retired people as possible to ensure that many people have the opportunity to attend and have a say in the re-starting this very worthwhile club.
Anyone interested in this issue can contact Archie on 07748114555 or by email at
